5 Tips for Choosing an HDTV

Color temperature of your HDTV is a major player in deciding viewing compatibility with external conditions. If the color temperature is not well-adjustable, the mileage may vary with how your screen recreates the image. So it is important to note how well your screen handles black and white details.

4. Full screen video on your widescreen
If you are the kind of person who prefers viewing by stretching the picture to fill the entire screen, you need to conduct another test. Some HDTV screens do not stretch vertically, but only horizontally. This distorts the picture to a certain extent. So, make sure that your HDTV stretches the image in both dimensions.
